Our beautiful and memorable trail rides are a great way to explore the backcountry and enjoy Steamboat Springs’ rich cowboy culture firsthand. We offer 1-hour and 2-hour trail rides daily for ages 6+. Our rides start a with riding orientation, led by one of our experienced wranglers. Then we’ll hit the trail which features stunning views of Sand Mountain, Hahn’s Peak and Steamboat Lake. Depending on the time of the season you might see gorgeous wildflowers, sandhill cranes, or golden aspen leaves. The scenery in this valley is incredible, and it's so much fun to explore it all on horseback.
Our rides leave directly from our adventure lodge, which features a restaurant, playground, general store with lots of recreational gear and souvenirs, and soft serve ice cream! Stop on in after your ride for a beverage or meal on our patio. See website for restaurant hours and details.
