Copper is the only resort in the Colorado Rockies to offer free gondola rides for adults in the summer. Adults can enjoy a complimentary ride on their American Eagle Lift with only one catch – spend a few dollars on yummy eats or retail goods in the Village. Show your receipt for at the ticket window and your ride is on the house. Young kids ride free with an adult ticket. Grab a delicious meal in the Village, then rise to the peak for hiking, biking, and amazing summer views, all at one low price.
Starting in July, the American Eagle Lift at the base of Copper allows bike hauls up the mountain, where both the rider and her mountain bike enjoy a scenic gondola ride to the top, then a nice downhill bike ride down a choice of easy, intermediate or advanced terrain. True to its world-class reputation, Copper offers on-site bike rentals and outfitting at the base, so there’s no need to bring your own equipment, just show up.
